I am sorry for the confusion. Since you are using paid version, you can download the 3 mb files- http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/Internet_Security_1824.exe and fix the issue.

That is all very well but I have the choice of the free trial or buy the new version when I go to that link. I am not prepared to pay again so please tell me exactly which one I need to down download.

This is a known issue. To fix this, please download the latest AVG version 18.2 https://www.avg.com/en-us/download.prd-gsr and starting installing over the current version on your PC. Restart the computer after the installation & check the status.

Can anyone tell me how to update my virus definitions as it keeps saying they are out of date. I press the update and it goes through the process but doesn't correct it. I am frustrated that I can't get support that I need.

I have a paid version currently so please indicate which one I need to download, one is 3 mb, and the others are 200+ mb. Please be very specific for me.
