Wednesday, June 19th, I submitted three false positive reports for url:blacklist coming from Zapier's form interface page. Usually the domain is formatted as *.Zapier.app when AVG showed it on the url:blacklist. By Friday the blacklist alert stopped showing up but I haven't heard back from AVG.
So I have two questions:
1) Does anyone know what the cause of that blacklist was?
2) How long does it usually take for AVG to respond back to my false positive report?
Hello Nicholas,
Thank you for contacting AVG Community Support.
We see that you have submitted false positive request to our concern team and you have not got response for your report.
We are really sorry to know this. We'll certainly check and help you out.
Also we see that you wish to know why the websites get blacklisted.
Google quarantines suspicious websites every day and puts them on a “Google blacklist”.
When a website is added to a blacklist, it means that Google and different search engines are marking the website not secure to visit.
Please allow at least a few business days for the submitted files/URLs to be analyzed. If our Threat Labs representatives confirm false positives, the Antivirus client should automatically receive the update within the following 24 hours.
We have also raised a request from our end regarding this, our team will reach you via email at the earliest.
Thank you.
