I have downloaded this 2016 free edition without Zen a few months ago, AVG_Antivirus_Free_x64_693.exe.
If I install it now, it will install AVG 2016 free without Zen, am I correct? Because someone in the forum told me that it will only install trial version with zen , I just want to make sure. Some people still have the 2014, 2015, and 2016 AVG free edition installation file and they still can intall the free edition, not a trial version.

Good, I found it has new virus definition this morning, but there is no new definition update again for whole day. I saw there are new definition updates for 2013, 2015 and 2016 version. Is AVG 2014 still have updates later.
And other question, are these linkds still working?

I found that there is no new virus definition updates for AVG 2014 since yesterday afternoon. The virus definition database still at Iavi: 10705, update date still in Sept 26. I went up to AVG update centre and found that other old versions and new versions have new updates today , it's Iavi: 70113 and 70114. How come there is no updates for 2014? I am starting to worry!

We wish to keep you informed that due to the arrival of new threats and infections, we have updated our AVG security program with high new security patches and updates to enhance the computer security. At present we have didn't have the free version without AVG ZEN. In AVG 2016 we have AVG ZEN as a inbulit componenet and software is designed in such way. The below mentioned links are not available anymore, incase if you install through that link we didn't get the full updates. If you wish to install AVG Protection free latest version please try to follow the below steps.

We would request you to remove previously installed program traces of (AVG 2015 or AVG 2014)from your system using AVG Remover tool and then try to reinstall AVG Protection free.
Note: If you have installed any other conflicting programs like AVAST, NORTON, McAfee or KASPERSKY try to uninstall it.
Once you have uninstalled from your system,try to follow the steps which mentioned below.
Remover and Download:
1) To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link: http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen.

Please be informed that the AVG Free edition without the AVG Zen interface is no longer available for the download. We would request you to install the updated AVG Free program so that your PC will be more protected than before.

I have downloaded AVG 2016 free without zen from the above links on May, I also tried those link a moment ago, it still can download. I checked my old comment in another topic about avg without zen, the technical support told me this is the link to download avg 2016 without zen, only download an offline version without zen. One of my friends tried it for me in his computer, it's really doesn't have Zen in it even update the latest programs.
