Hello David,
We apologize for the inconvenience.
To assist you better, could you please send us the screenshot of the startup entry you see in your computer about AVG and also let us know if you are using the free or paid version of AVG? Please click on this link for the steps to take screenshot http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot
Thank you
Is this startup entry "None" a virus? Using Glary Utilities, I can't even delete the entry. It says 'failed'.
If it's something normal with AVG, that's fine, but is a virus piggybacked onto AVG?
C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\Av is given as location. avirunner.exe is given as the entry
David, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Hello David,
Thank you for providing the screenshot.
From the screenshot we see that the start up service that is AVG UI restarter is a genuine AVG service which is required for the AVG program to start the User Interface. This entry cannot be deleted as this is a service running in the background to protect your computer.
Thank you.
