AVG will never produce sound during notification, this might either be your system settings notification.
Please check your android notification settings and disable any.

Hi, I just added Avg app yesterday and although I have turned off all notifications I am still getting sounds when the activity log does something. How do I turn this off, it is very intrusive and annoying. Thanks

When I get a text I get two notifications, one for the text and when I check the activity log it has checked the text and confirmed that its ok, also I'm getting notifications when files are scanned. I have turned all notifications off but when files etc are scanned I get a notification sound.
