Alok Kumar,
Can you clarify the point from your answer above: The only option available here is to install the latest version with online updates (manual updates is available).-where can we download these manual updates from?
I am very discouraged by this decision. I have dialup at home and I cannot update automatically without clogging my phone line for hours on end. I go to the library once or twice a week, download the new signatures and bring them home to install.
Looks like I'll be shopping for a new antivirus program.
Hello, unfortuntley the more i digg into avg the more I get supprised by how lousy and they don't have any form of support for their business clients, can someone tells me how to get hold of these people

Hello Linus,
We'd like to inform that files available on https://www.avg.com/en-us/download-update are offline update files and they are intended to 2016 and older versions. The 2017 and later version of AVG programs (Free & Paid) downloads virus definitions automatically and the option to install virus definitions manually has been discontinued.
We'd also like to inform that virus definitions on https://www.avg.com/en-us/download-update are no longer updated. If you are using a 2016 or older version of AVG program, we strongly recommend upgrading it to latest version for better protection.

Hey, so I I'm using AVG free antivirus on an offline computer. And I've been able to download the .bin files and do an manual update for a few years. Though it seems AVG have removed the option to download the stand alone updates from their site? Can anyone confirm this?
Hi, I need support for business subscription, can any one help
Linus,
We regret the inconvenience caused. We have already stopped releasing updates for AVG 2015 & AVG 2016 version. The only option available here is to install the latest version with online updates (manual updates is available).
I’m sorry, apart from this we don’t have any other options available.
Regards,
Alok.
Moutaz, we've already replied to your original post.
Please keep up the conversation in a single post for quick & better assistance.
Thank you for understanding.

Hello Sagir,
We would like to clarify the "manual update" option available with our latest version.
If you select "manual update" it means that the update will not happen automatically though the PC is connected to the internet.
It will happen only when the "update" option is clicked by the user.
