AVG Secure VPN works well, perhaps too well as I cannot do online banking. My first mistake was having it turned on to visit my bank online; I should have known better by temporarily turning it off. Now with it on or off, it rejects me from entering. I can still perform telephone banking and my email alerts continue to come through. The call centre for this company sticks tight to their script; no room to think outside of the box to help solve a customer’s dilemma however as recommended by a bank employee come in to the branch and they can work with one of their techs from the backend. I’m also bringing my IP on a piece of paper so they could whitelist it, if that is even possible.
I know there is an easier solution I can do at home within the AVG VPN settings. There has to be but I haven’t figured out what to do or where to look. Ugh.
