Yes, only it's web mail. It doesn't have a lot of features like allowing you to move a message to you desktop, however you CAN move attachments to the desktop.
 I use it instead of having Outlook use my disk space-I use Comcast's space. It's like using the cloud. That is the main reason I use it. Google's Gmail or Yahoo's Mail it basically the same thing, but then I don't like Google's or Microsoft's nose in my rear!

Is comcast.net an email client like Outlook?
In general when you browse in the internet and check emails through it then AVG will provide complete protection if it is installed and active completely.
If you are using an email client then you can add it to the settings of "Email Protection" of AVG and the options can be enabled to scan outbound and inbound emails.

I use Comcast email. I just can't see why I would use my Hard Drive space for email like Outlook when I can use their space instead.

 My question is : Can AVG Internet Security scan my email as I open them on Comcast.net?
 I know that among you smart guys out there, someone can settle this for me.
