Online Shield is enabled but not completely functional AND Error Code 0xc0070571

Thank you! I actually ended up removing everything and putting AVG Antivirus Free on instead (because I only have one computer and therefore don't actually need Zen) but I'm sure it will be very helpful if anybody else is searching the forum for how to get past the Error Code. So thank you once again. :slight_smile:

I have just got an alert saying that Online Shield is enabled but not completely functional. I went here: AVG Community to solve that issue, but unfortunately it didn't work. When I tried to repair AVG by clicking "Change" in the Programs & Features menu, it said "Unexpected error! Sorry we've run into a problem during installation. (Error code: 0xc0070571)".

How do I get past this?

AVG Internet Security is the one that put the alert up. AVG Zen is on my machine as well - my sister installed it for me, so I seem to have both.

However. The alert has disappeared since yesterday, and it's saying that Web is protected, so maybe it's decided to sort itself out. I don't know. (Fingers crossed…)
