Opening email messages with attachments

In my email above the error message is in plain site???   I have tried to reply 7 times through the above mentioned email service and each time the reply from AVG is:

This is an automatic reply - please do not reply to this mail. If you are receiving this message after replying to an AVG email, we were not able to identify your email properly. I use OE Classic Pro 3.1  for my email.   for appx 1 month I get an error when opening an email with an attachment.

upon contacting OE Classic, this is their reply-----  caused by your antivirus, update to the latest version which is digitally signed and your antivirus may complain less or not at all.

Is there a problem that you are aware of for this software.   How would I find dates of updates to see if an older version would fix problem?

The only component that effects the email is Ransomware portion.   when it is off, I can open mail with attachments.
