On checking your account, we could see that you have the following active subscriptions:

AVG Internet Security - Unlimited (1 year subscription) valid till 2020.12.29

AVG Secure VPN (1 year subscription) valid till 2020.6.21

AVG Internet Security - Unlimited (1 year subscription) valid till 2019.6.29

AVG Password protection (1 year subscription) valid till 2020.5.18

Virus Removal Assurance (1 year) valid till 2020.6.24

You have the multiple subscription of the same product (AVG Internet security unlimited). You have purchased the AVG Internet Security (Multi-Device) for AUD54.94 on 2019.6.24.

Are you getting the popup to pay for 12 months in your AVG program?

Hello, 

I was just wondering why I have an extended subscription for 6 months but was asked to pay 12 months renewal before using the extended one? In the "My Subscriptions" window there are all the subscriptions I know about at the top but there are 2 below in "Other Subscriptions" available to use which I'm nor sure about. Hopefully someone can explain this to me. 

I have a screen shot if you can permit me to upload in here (I noticed there's no feature to upload in this chat window).

Thank you for sharing us the screenshot, Marcus. Let us attempt to clarify this for you. 
Upon checking our records, we see that you've subscribed to the 12 month subscription while you had an active subscription. However, they are merged automatically. As a result you've an active subscription of AVG Internet Security valid till 2020.12.29. 
It seems that the previous licenses are being displayed in 'My subscriptions'. To synchronize the program properly, please log out from your AVG account through the program & re-login to check.

Logged out and back in with no change …still the same.

I can see there is a change since logging out and back in again...

When the "active" AVG AntiVirus Subscription ends on 29th December 2019, will I again be asked to renew this subscription?

 

If I activate the subscription in the area below in this image on 28th December 2019 (because this subscription expires 29th December 2020) and the one in the top section is going to expire 29th December 2019.

If you compare both images you'll see what I mean...hopefully.

Tell me whats going on here ...and if I was to activate the one in the bottom screen will everything need to be updated again as a new downloaded program to worlkd properly?

Why make this so confusing for customers...they don't have a clue BUT I do!
