Thank you for your prompt reply. I see no Add-Ins either in the Add/Remove Program List or Local Disk (C:) . I have deleted and re-loaded Microsoft 365 and everything is working except for Outlook. Next step is to delete AVG and re-install unless you have another idea. If that does not work, then will remove AVG entirely and replace with another product.
Hello Gene,
We regret to hear about the inconvenience caused to you. We request you to try removing the Outlook add-in from the Windows Control Panel.
This is the best method to remove Outlook add-ins because not only you remove them from Outlook but you also remove their files from your Windows installation.
Almost all Outlook add-ins are actually installed as programs on Windows, which means that they have an entry in your Add / Remove Programs list, from your Windows Control Panel. So you should be able to remove an Outlook add-in using the Uninstall Program feature from your Windows Control Panel. Please, feel free to let us know if you require any further assistance. Thank you.
The automatic install of 8 plug-ins by AVG into Windows 365 Outlook has frozen the program. Over the last two days Outlook is trying to install with no success. How can I stop or remove these plug-ins so I can use Outlook?
