Outlook restarting when configuring 365

I have been trying to configure Outlook 365 on Outlook 2016 and Outlook keeps restarting saying that AVG 

I have already following the articles to "

How to set up AVG Email Protection to scan encrypted e-mails" to configure IMAP & SMTP settings and a further article to stop the scanning of incoming emails and to disable the AVG add-in in Outlook, but no joy.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
