I put in my CC payment info, loaded AVG, was directed to restart my PC, after shutdown I got no BIOS splash screen, I can’t get into the BIOS and I can’t even boot from a USB drive. There is a front button on the PC to clear the CMOS - tried it - didn’t work.
It seems my PC is bricked. It’s a Bosgame mini PC with 32GB and Ryzen 7.
Could this be a UEFI problem? Does AVG do anything to UEFI or the BIOS?
I bought a new Bosgame that’s almost the same but it does have some differences. The monitor outputs are now one HDMI and a DP instead of two HDMI’s. The front button to clear the CMOS is on the opposite side on the front so the Motherboard must have changed. I was wanting to use the new PC to fix the old one but also really scared of bricking the new one. And, I’m now afraid to load AVG on the new PC because it might brick this one too.
