Password protection does not turn on

Password Protection DOES NOT TOGGLE TO "ON"?! 
I have uninstalled and reinstalled AVG and it STILL DOES NOT TOGGLE TO ENABLE Password Protection. 
WHAT NOW??? I just paid for a two year subscription so I expect the features to WORK!

Seems like the password protection is off and changing settings or clicking on the swipe button doesn't help.
