I very much sympathise with Michael Mansell. His problems and opinions are very much my own and although I have renewed and paid extra for what used to be included in full cover will probably not renew next year. AVG does not seem to be the company it once was.

I’ve got pretty much the full package of cover and just paid £9.99 for extra cover until renewal.
Now everytime I check the settings the Password protection keeps turning itself off !!
I find this very concerning given AVG keeps throwing up warnings about my passwords !

Please let us know the version of AVG that is installed on your computer.
To check this : Open AVG Internet Security - Menu - About.
Also, clarify whether enabling it manually keeps the component active on next restart.
I'm afraid I have the same issue. I expect that AVG should send us an update soon to fix this.

There is no way I'm uninstalling the whole AVG package and leaving myself with no ANTIVIRUS cover whilst it reinstalls !!
I will put up with this fault but I will not be renewing the subscription .f
Apart from anything else your pricing system is bordering on criminal !!!
I thought I was fully covered when I agreed to the annual subscription… then I agree to pay an extra £9.99 today for extra cover then you prompt me to pay another subscription for some extra cover that I thought I already had !!

I'm paying for PRIVACY cover and it says I'm Privacy protected BUT at the bottom it says my IP Address is visible … I clicked on Resolve and it tells me 4 things
1 Anyone can see what I do online
2 my internet provider can record my actions
3 my location is exposed
4 my IP address is visible
Now you want me to pay an EXTRA £35.88 per year for something I thought I was covered for !!
I think that somebody needs to sort all this out or give me a full refund for this year and all the previous years!!
I am very unhappy !!!
