Well, it is unacceptable for such a serious problem to remain unsolved for so long without an update. I am dealing with many passwords in many platforms & bank accounts and I feel very very insecure.
Having trouble for so many months to find out how to fix a bug or delaying to fix it because of other reasons, sets serious questions about the product's reliability.
I am not willing to wait for too long.

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE password protection keeps turning off … manually before i connect my internet i open to see Hacker Attacks password turned OFF manually i turn it back on then go to my internet and turn it on never fully KNOW SECURE that it may have turn off again . I can uninstall program/app and reinstall that is not an answer to a PAYING CUSTOMER FOR TWO YEARS of your service I asure you will not be renewing with AVG will look for other security apps/programs
