I have several AVG apps becoming due for renewal via PayPal. The renewals fail. AVG message is “Just go to your PayPal account and make sure it’s properly set up for making payments Go to PayPal”

Some time ago I deleted all my recurring PayPal set up. None of them mentioned AVG. I went to PayPal to try to renew. It seems AVG won’t allow it. Tried to contact support, which is all just standard messages. Finally got a sales support number - but same standard messages again. Replied to the AVG emails to try to speak with a human. No reply, and no humans so ask for support. What to do???

Any humans out there? Or just poorly informed bots?

I have the same problem. My subscription expires in a couple of weeks so I intend to let it expire and then load the Free AVG package. I will then wait for them to offer me an upgrade at a good price.

If i could suggest, choose a different anti virus software. AVG is extremely abhorrent when it comes to customer service. I managed to get my refund I wanted through facebook messenger, and I keep coming back to these forums to help out the people AVG continues to wrong every day
