I cant get to safe mode - there is no signal on my monitors now. Not sure if its even getting as far as BIOS screen !
Yes it was the free AVG Antivirus
any other help would be appreciated?

Hi, I've recently accepted an AVG update (don't know what it was exactly) but when my PC restarted it would boot up. This is so annoying that AVG software caused this !! I am really P*ss**d off about it to be fair. I have only put AVG on my PC a few weeks ago!! and this is what happens!!!. - I re-booted it manually, by forcing it to re-start by holding the power button down etc ) I've done this three times - I got the Windows 10 recovery screen, saying "repairing windows …" - I left this going for about 3 hours - still same screen and message - tried re-booting again - still nothing. Has anyone got any ideas about this please ? what I can try next ? many thanks
