PC Tune up won't clean browser data

Hi Anthony,

This isn't the usual behavior of AVG TuneUp. In this regard, we may need to reinstall the program.
Before proceeding with it, would you be so kind to let us know the exact version of TuneUp that is installed on your computer?
To check version : Open AVG TuneUp - Menu - About. Alternate way : Go to control panel - Programs & Features - Programs - version would be listed beside TuneUp.
If not, help us with the screenshot of the TuneUp interface to identify the version.

Hi - my AVG PC Tune Up keeps showing Browser Data needing to be cleaned. When I click on "Clean" a pop up asks to close all browsers. I do this and then it just keeps repeating this even though the browsers are closed. Even if I run the Tune \Up from start with no browsers open, it doesn the same.

Anthony, we are actually looking for the version of AVG PC TuneUp installed.

To make it easier and help you precisely, we would like to offer you a free remote assistance.

If you are okay with that, please connect with us remotely. I've sent you an email to connect to our Remote Expert Technician to check the situation on your computer and also collect AVG Logs if necessary so that we can escalate the case to our Senior Team.

Please check your Junk/Spam as well for this e-mail and connect to our Remote Team.

I've had the same problem for years. If you research this issue, you will find that this has been a problem for over 5 years. AVG has posted several fixes, but NOBODY has reported that they were able to fix this issue. I've beem am AVG user for 15-20 years, but I can't figure out how to fix this same issue.
