PC TuneUp Error 0xE0010058: Access is denied

I thought there would be something new in the 2017 version, so I come here the AVG official website to download again (I thought it would be 2017 version) and clicked to install; however it encountered installation problem, then I searched here the community and thought it could be solved by using the AVG remover tool; so I downloaded it and executed a thorough removal with the tool. Finally I run again the latest downloaded trial version installation file, it told me access denied with error code 0xE0010058

Hi Terrence,
I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused. I would like to inform you that AVG PC TuneUp is a one time fix trial version and it is not possible to install the trial version second time on the same PC. May I know the reason for reinstalling to assist you further?

I tried to reinstall the trial version of PC TuneUp, it comes up with the error code 0xE0010058: Access is denied; I tried the remover tools but the problem is still there, anyone can help?

Once uninstalled, please click the link http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_PCTuneUp_704.exe to install AVG Trial PC Tuneup.

After the installation, it might end with the expiry message since you have already used the trial version on your computer.

Terrence, I appreciate your efforts in trying to fix the issue. I would suggest you to follow the instructions in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-uninstall-AVG to run the remover tool. Then download and run AVG Clear tool: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe . This tool will help with removing antivirus component of AVG 2017 and its traces. Open tool User Account control - click "Yes" Windows safe mode - click "No" (we cannot recommend use the tool in safe mode, because there is a problem with compability) Choose installed version (AVG Free, AVG Internet Security) Click "Uninstall" Click "Restart computer".
