Hey Avarind, yes it works on SSD but on the way to doing it, it declares that it "can't guarantee secure shredding" due to a lack of hardware support.
So does it work or doesn't it? What exactly is the level of shredding if secure shredding can't be guaranteed, please?

I recently deleted some folders, files, and files in my recycle bin using
'permanently shred with AVG' option when I right click the files.
I asked AVG Technologies on Facebook, messaging to ask if the files i shredded were
successfully shredded.
The answer I recieved is that shredding does not work on SSDs.
I set up my windows on C:, which is my SSD (Plextor M5), I use another HDD for my D:,
and the files i shredded were on the wallpaper.
If shredding SSD files were not available, why did 'permanently shred' option
appear when I right clicked the file?
When I left clicked the option, it did take some time to show the progress of shredding, and the files were gone.
I would like to know if my files were successfully shredded or not.
