How can force AVG Antivirus FREE to permanently switch off the passive mode?

AVG Antivirus FREE recognizes two different "interferring" programs (Microsoft Security Essentials and another not named program) and wants to stay in passive mode.
But I want to switch off the passive mode. Then I switch it off and restart the PC as the AVG "wants".
After restarting the PC AVG is still in passive mode.
This is reproducible.

How can I reach the goal to switch off the passive mode permanently?
