Play Music option no longer working in Alarm Clock Extreme?

Hey, I have been very happy with alarm clock extreme, as it has so many options and is very reliable. However, after my upgrade to lollipop (and restoring from factory reset), the play music option no longer works. I can select music, and it shows the song it should be playing, but when it's time for the alarm it just plays the ringtone instead.
