Plug-in disabled but it doesn't show up in plug-ins@

Could you please check if you have set your Google Chrome browser as your default web browser and then check if you are able to enable the AVG extension in your browser?

For AVG Web-Tune-up I get the message "AVG Plug-in disabled in your default web browser"
:  Google Chrome.    Enable the Plug-in in your browser for full protection.   Open in Browser"

Well I follow steps for Chrome Plug-ins but it doesn't show anything for AVG.   Now what do I do???
