Hello. I have the free AVG version. About two weeks ago a pop-up occurred that said "Your computer is being monitored". I couldn't get further info without paying - and right now I have no income.
What does this mean? I searched google and bing and no-one reports such a message.

It seems that you have got the campaign popup for either AVG Secure VPN or AVG Anti-Track product.
These products will secure your online privacy and usually campaigns will appear like "PC is being monitored" or "IP address is visible".
This is to know about the seriousness and if you click on the option available on the popup, it will explain you about the product and show the price for it.
If you get the popup again, do provide its screenshot here. We will be able to provide more information regarding it.

Have you received that popup notification on bottom page of your AVG user interface?
Yes, on the bottom right. What I want to know is, why hasn't this pop up occurred to anyone else? I've done exhaustive searches, and not one single mention of this. Windows Defender has a message that says "Your computer is being monitored and protected", meaning that the program itself is "monitoring" the computer. Is AVG telling me it's monitoring my computer, or some remote party?
