I am an AVG Ultimate subscriber.
As for capturing a screenshot of the G-mail popup, I cannot repeat it, because I clicked on it and clicked "permanently allow on this program", So, It is gone and I wouldn't know how to undo my change.
Why, after a half dozen years, would I suddenly loose the ability to print my Windows Live Mail emails. It must be something that changed. (It also affected G-mail.)
We're glad to look into this & help you, Valdi.
Please let us know what happens exactly while attempting to print emails from Windows Live Mail. Do you receive any error message?
If so, share us the screenshot of it for better clarity. Also, upon checking your account, we're unable to find the AVG Ultimate subscription.
You might have used your alternate email address to subscribe. As it isn't recommended to share the account/order details over this post, we've sent you an email requesting account info.

EURECA – today I am able to print emails from my Windows Live mail feed.
I can't know, but I did run a complete and thorough AVG scan yesterday. And now things have been fixed.
I want to thank the good people that have replied and provided guidance. I have renewed my AVG Ultimate subscription now two times and will certainly continue with AVG. Just what a neophyte like me needs…
Hello Valdi,
We're unsure why it is being blocked. Could you share the screenshot of the popup that appears while printing from email?

Are you using the AVG Antivirus free program on your computer?
I have an issue that started yesterday. A pop-up is blocking printing of my e-mails (Windows Live Mail)
I have a desktop running Windows 8:1
I also use G-mail. Today when I tried to print from G-mail, it wouldn't print, but then a dialogue box on the screen appeared stating that a pop-up was blocking the printing. I opened the dialogue box, clicked "permanently allow on this program", and the printing commenced. Now, I want to do the same with my Windows Live Mail program. How do I identify the block and disable it for Windows Live Mail?

Thank you for the information.
We request you to check the connectivity between the computer and the printer.
If the connection is perfect, then disable the AVG and check for the issue again.

I replied with authentification of my active AVG ULTIMATE subscription.
Starting yesterday, when I bring up an e-mail message on Windows Live Mail, and call for a print, the regular PRINT dialogue box appears, showing the printer that is connected and active, and asking how many copies to print out (as usual). But when I command the print - NOTHING. No message. Just silence…
