It happens when I am surfing the internet. If I leave my laptop on for an hour or so and go and do something else the pop-up appears at least five times in succession when I go back to my laptop. It is just so annoying and I can't get rid of it. While I have been typing this reply the pop-up has appeared twice.

Does this pop-up occur randomly or it occur when you surf the internet? Please let us know the version of AVG program installed and the screenshot of the threat message to assist further?

I am constantly getting a message in the form of s pop-up from AVG which says:
We've safely aborted connection on no-stop.org because it was infected with JS:Proxy-B(Trj).
It is driving me crazy as it is happening every 5 minutes or so. How do I stop it? Do I have to uninstall my AVG software which I am quite prepared to do as it really is ridiculous how often it is happening.

Hello, it is happening at random and while I am browsing. It has just done it three times while I am typing this to you.
The AVG component is the following;

I have attached the screenshot as you can see above. The software version I have is 19.6.3098(build 19.6.4546.517). The virus definition is version 190816-4.

Please initiate deep scan and check the result. Do you receive this popup while trying to access any particular website?
The pop-up appears no matter what website I am using. If I am online for say 10 hours in a day the I probably get this pop-up about 30 times.

Anthony, we can see the screenshot but we could not determine which AVG component is detecting this. Could you click 'See details' on the pop up and let us know which AVG component it is? Please also let us know if you are receiving this randomly or when you are connected to internet and browsing?

Can you confirm the version of AVG AntiVirus free installed on your PC? To find: Open AVG > Menu > About.
