Hello Wayne,
I understand that you wish to open two ports from AVG to allow an application to work. Please open AVG Internet Security installed on your computer, click on Menu->Settings->Components->Firewall->Customize->Policies->Packet Rules. From here you can open the ports. If you face any difficulties, feel free to contact us.
AVG, for some reason has shut down, and closed ports I use for some ham related programming, and I can't find a way to re open them again, so I can again use my programming. They are ports 5198, and 5199. When I go to use my ham related programming, I both want, and need both ports open for voice communications. It peeves me off, when I am not personally asked by AVG, on whether I want these two ports shut down, or have easy to find location, where I can manually open these ports before using the programming. Really browns me off, when I have it working right one minute, and the next time I go to use that same programming, I can't open those two ports in any manner. Only one, out of 3 ports I need to operate the programming properly is opening. Now how the hell do I open the other two as well? Really browned off.
