We understand that you would like to know if you can install AVG on your brother's user account and use Windows defender on yours or not. If so, sorry, you can not do so. Anti-virus products run as a service, at least the portion that does the real work, and start before a user logs in. There is no way different users can use different products. And having more than one anti-virus product installed is a bad idea that may reduce security and cause a variety of other problems like PC slowdown majorly.

Hi, Greetings.As a Windows lover, I prefer using Windows defender for my protection where as my brother thinks exactly opposite of this.He prefers AVG.So the question is, can I install AVG for a single user account?
