Yes, Grammarly add-in was forcibly disabled by Outlook (see 2nd image above). I also disabled "Behavior Shield" for 1 hour after making sure Grammarly is disabled. Opened Outlook and have been in the app all day from my previous post (meaning I haven't closed and reopen Outlook yet today). I have not uninstalled and reinstalled Grammarly yet because this app this issue, Outlook and Grammarly was working with no problems until this morning, I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Grammarly 4x times before posting for help. I downloaded Grammarly from my account I have set up and the file is signed.
Are you still receiving the threat pops from AVG? Could you confirm the version of AVG Internet Security installed on your PC?
To find the version: Open AVG Internet Security > Menu > About.
In order to identify the cause, we need to either disable Grammarly add-in or AVG protection (Behavior Shield) at a time.
Please disable Grammarly add-in & re-open Outlook to check if you still receive the message. If you receive, then it could be a false positive.
Your false positive request will be analyzed by the concerned team & the file will be whitelisted if it goes through the clean notes of AVG.
Thank you for your understanding in advance!
We appreciate your patience.
AVG Internet Security
software version: 19.6.3098 (build 19.6.4546.514)
virus def version: 190802-6
This has happened again for the 6th different times, I either need this fixed or a complete refund.
Yes, Anthony. Your false positive request is being reviewed by the concenred team. They'll check the screenshots that you've provided & write back to you at the earliest. Please wait for an email from them.
Thank you for your understanding in advance!
Yes, I did submit a false positive request yesterday basically with the same information above from 7/24/2019. Just after the other support person had asked me, maybe 1 to 2 hrs from that time.
