Tried using link as stated. Spoke to someone called Christian who wanted a "screenshot?" of the page asking for payment in sterling. Sent an e-mail describing how to take screenshot-this did not work and connection lost. Tried again with on line chat to Patrick-asked him to pass me back to Christian - not actioned- sent me a link by e-mail which did not reconnect to Christian. Have now given up with AVG-will wait for current modules to expire and take business elsewhere

Originally purchased AVG support whilst resident in the UK prior to move to Republic of Ireland. Initial problems after renewal in euros with requests to renew same product for different dates in both Sterling and euros.
Thought this was sorted at renewal this year (March 2020) after speaking to customer service.
Now keep getting advice that I should purchase Driver Update module. Problem is that this requires payment in Sterling (not euros).
Furthermore if I do try to pay in Sterling on the confirm purchase page I am asked if I wish to purchase other modules WHICH i HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT and paid for in euros.
Used on line chat and spoke to customer service. All they want to do is process the transaction (in euros) using my debit card BUT not address the underlying problem.
How can I purchase a product in euros and then be asked to repurchase it and other products in Sterling
