Problem opening OpenOffice documents after installing AVG

I can not open my OpenOffice Documents after installing this product.  What can I do to fix this problem? Thanks.

I installed your free product, no purchase made.  So yes, to the antivirus, not sure it free product included the Internet Security.  If Internet Security is free, how can I tell if it was also downloaded to my computer?
