Problem with computer running slow

We request you to disable the tracking detection in the AVG AntiTrack and check for the issue again.

Open AVG AntiTrack -> Settings -> Uncheck the "Enable Tracking detection"

Having connected to a techician yesterday who was extremely helpful I am frustrated to find that my PC is still running slow despite him saying there was nothing wrong with the PC

For some time now my computer has been running really slowly, could AVG AntiTrack have anything to do with this?

You can open AVG AntiTrack & click on AntiTracking to disable Website tracking. If issue persists, you can disable AVG protection temporarily to check if it helps.

Even after closing the programme my computer is running very slow

This is the only AVG icon on my toolbar.  The PC is slow particularly when trying to open my AOL plus when browing some websites

When I go into settings on AVG AntiTrack I cannot see where I can uncheck the "Enable Tracking detection"

Thank you.  I have followed your advice re reinstalling AVG which I have now done and my PC speed has definitely improved.

I have followed your advice but when I right-click the AVG system tray icon on the Windows taskbar, the menu that appears is not the same as the one in your advice.  There is no green slider next to Protection. It is a different screen
