Problems caused by AVG Internet Security update

I have both AVG Inernet Security and AVG PC TuneUp, tonight AVG IS was updated to version 19.2.3079 (build 19.2.4186.429) and since then computer performance has been poor and I can’t access the internet anymore.  It’s running on Windows based PC with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  I’ve tried to uninstall from the control panel without success, so I can’t even try to reinstall.

Are you getting any error while uninstalling AVG Internet Security?
If so, could you provide the screenshot of error message here?
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
You can run AVG clear tool as mentioned in this https://goo.gl/JDK1db article and remove the traces of the program.
Once it is removed, check whether your PC performance is improved.
