Hello Ole,
I understand the inconvenience.
Please disable AVG Antivirus temporarily as mentioned in this article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-use-Passive-Mode and check whether the error appears for Photoshop.
Keep us informed about the status.
I just purchased AVG Internet Security, and now I have great problems with Adobe Photoshop Elements 14. I am not able to write text on a photo, I keep getting this error message: "Selected font failed during last operation. If problem persists, please disable the font." I have never seen this error before, and I have had no problems with the free version of AVG.
I did, what you told me, and now it works, but I have two questions for you, if I may. I don't understand, what firewall have to do with a program on my own harddisk, and it seems to me, that I am more vulnerable, when I exclude a program from virusscanning?
I deactivated AVG and activated Windows Defender instead (Windows 10), and Photoshop worked like it should. Afterwards I activated AVG again ( and deactivated Defender), and now again Photoshop does not work, so it is AVG, that's the crook. I can not be the only one, that's using Photoshop Elements, so I'm rather disappointed over AVG, and I don't see, why I should pay money for this program.
