Problems with ransomeware protection and behaviour shield

I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Both Ransomware and Behaviour shield should not be turned off when restarting the computer. So I would request you to turn on the components (AVG > Menu > Settings > Components) and check if you get an error message. If not, restart the PC once and see if the components are enabled. If it is disabled, then please reply back to us to assist further.

Regarding the Deep scan, based on the file size of your computer the scan will take time to complete. Also, in the latest version, the program has been designed to run a faster scan.

I am very worried about my recent experiences with AVG Internet Security; a full paid up version which has up to now been great.

Recently however when switching on my laptop, the AVG internet security features "Ransomeware protection" and - today for the first time - "Behaviour Shield" have been turned off. These are set to "strict mode" so should not keep turning off without my permission. Can anyone please help me? I have just tried a "deep scan" but it ran far too quickly to have been a full scan, taking just 15 minutes when in the past it has taken many hours to scan the full system and files. Thanks to all in anticipation of advice.
