Problems with Renewal of AVG Internet Security and with Customer Support and Contact

Regarding the AVG Internet Security license not showing under 'My Products' tab, we need to escalate it to concern team for resolution along with a screenshot of your AVG MyAccount. I have sent you an email requesting for a screenshot. Please revert that email with attaching the screenshot of your AVG MyAccount to proceed further.

This issue does not impact the functionality of your previously installed products, nor does it affect the installation or activation processes of newly purchased AVG products.

The AVG Support Contact Page is useless. No-one responded to my previous two contacts via this page. I'm not even sure the submissions go anywhere. We are only given Chat and Phone (no Email) as contact options on this page and when I select Chat and then submit it just hangs with "Loading" spinning it's wheels indefinitely. No Chat. Will someone from AVG have the courtesy to respond this time please?

I am subscribed to AVG Internet Security (since 12/2014).

  • MyProducts page says "You don't have any subscriptions". Why?
  • MyAccount Order History shows current subscription (Order No. 703-2379496) expires 19/12 2018.
  • When I open the AVG program, it opens AVG AntiVirus FREE.
  • Then, in MySubcription, it says "You're now using AVG Antivirus FREE" and "To upgrade to AVG Internet Security, please click here". Why?
  • I also get popups asking me to upgrade. Why?
  • From MyAVG, if I select Antivirus, it shows "You have basic protection"  "Computer. Protected" and "Web & Email. Protected".  That's all. Why?
  • What am I paying for, if I only get Antivirus FREE coverage?
  • Try following the "Instructions" on the page "Renewing AVG Internet Security - Unlimited, AVG TuneUp - Unlimited or AVG Ultimate".  Step 1. Log into your AVG MyAccount at myaccount.avg.com. Step 2. Click Subscriptions at the top of the page. OOPS, there is no Subscriptions at the top of the My Account page.
At the moment, there are so many bugs in this Renewal and Customer interface process that I am seriously doubting the integrity and quality of the Anti Virus protection. Can someone reassure me?
And you seem to have not yet activated AVG using the paid license number which is why it still runs as a free version. Please follow the steps provided below to complete the activation.

1. Open AVG Anti Virus Free.
2. Click on My AVG -> My Subscription.
3. Click on 'Enter license number'. If this is not an option, click on Logout to see it.
4. Key in the license number and follow the instructions on your screen to complete the activation.
