I am sorry to hear that. Have you tried repairing AVG and check it? Please repair AVG Internet security http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG from the control panel and check the status.

If the issue persists, please provide the screenshot of AVG memory usage to assist further.

Hi All,
On remote site and have a process com.avg.proxy using up my data.
AVG has used 500Mb while I have used 100Mb.
This is crazy
What is happening?
