I request you to open AVG Internet Security dashboard, to the left of it, you can find a small "HOME" icon.
Click on it to get the main user interface. On the main interface, see whether you have connect option.
If yes, click on it and follow the steps as mentioned in this article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Activate-AVG-Zen-Protection-Performance-or-Ultimate to activate AVG Secure VPN subscription.

How can I contact AVG about a product I paid for that has not been activated on my account?
On 11-20-17 I purchased the VPN component and AVG main module/screen does not show it. When I click on MyAVG Secure VPN is greyed out. I have the Paypal receipt that I paid $47.88 to DRI*AVG Technologies on 11-20-17.
