Purchased subscription, but keeps asking to purchase to do any work

I can perform a scan with AVG security with no problem.  It is when an automated screen pops up that I find trouble.  Just yesterday, I saw a screen that said, 'we've found 4 privacy issues.'  When I clicked 'resolve all,' it takes me to a new screen that says, 'Now please choose the length of your plan.'  But like I said, I already purchased the two year plan and activated it with the activation code.  I tried to upload photos of these screens, but after selecting the file and clicking 'insert', nothing happens.

Then I recieved an email that said, 'Reactivate your AVG Internet Security Unlimited' because I have not used it in a while.  So I followed the steps to activate the new avg plan.  But it said it could not install because the previous plan is still active.  So I followed the steps to uninstall, but then it says I cannot uninstall because the program is open, despite performing a force quit in the activity monitor several times.

please help!

I cannot supply a screen shot very easily.  This window only appears when AVG detects a problem on its own without my prompting.  I cannot force it to give me this option.  After clicking on the "fix" option from the automated window, a new screen which is the general screen that offers the purchase of one, two, and three year subscriptions is offered.

I have purchased a 2 year subscription "AVG Internet security (multiple device)" and installed it, activating it with the license number given.  However, every time AVG discovers a problem and I click "solve" or "fix", it asks me to purchase a subscription.  I feel I have wasted my money. Please advise.

Hi Ashley,

We will investigate and help you with that.
Please provide the screenshot of AVG window where it ask you to purchase and let us know when does it exactly happen.
You can post the screenshot by clicking on 'Image' symbol from 'Answer' field.
Thank you.

Thank you for clarifying, Ash. Let us attemt to explain this clearly.
From your message, we see that you're being prompted to purchase AVG Secure VPN, in order to fix the detected privacy issues, which is usual.
Reason being, AVG Internet Security doesn't include AVG Secure VPN. Certain privacy issues requires Secure VPN license to fix them, which needs to be purchased separately & activated.
Regarding AVG Internet Security, please check the subscription status (Open AVG Internet Security - Menu - My subscriptions - Check if the renewal date is reflected properly).

Ash, we believe that it is appearing when you perform scan on AVG internet Security. Hence, please initiate a scan from AVG Internet Security program interface.
When you click on "resolve" for each scan, please check whether you are asked to purchase while clicking on "resolve" for "performance" and "advanced issues".
