Putting aps to sleep

Hi Ian,

Yes, when you put a program into sleep mode. Then it will be automatically removed from the startup menu.

However, sleep mode will not restrict the updates for the respective programs.

You can wake those programs and check if you would like to.

AVG TuneUp >>  Speed up >> Background & startup programs >> Programs Sleeping
You can refer the same in the below link : https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Use-AVG-TuneUp

When AVG recommends putting "aps to sleep" are they really saying "remove them from the Start" menu.

(Have a screen shot but can't see an attachment button)
