Quality (?huh?) support

Hi Tony,

Please accept our sincere apologies. This isn't the experience we wanted you to have had.

I'm cursed, like so many others with an AVG service that pegs my CPU at over 990%. Then I am asked to Repair the installation. Since the installation is the same one I down loaded, I can not see how repeating the same action will fix the problem. (Of course, it could be that there is a bug in the downloaded product, in which case I would like YOU to fix the problem.

Step 1 is " Ensure no other application or antivirus software is running on your PC. "

No indication as to how to do this. If you have a junior Harry Potter around, I'm certain that he/she could write a Wizard to do this for me, but the only thing I can see to do is to de-install your product. I'm certain that this is not what you want, but everyone else seems resigned to suffer under your low quality control. If I do de-install, I'm vulnerable, and may not be able to use my computer, but if don't de-install I can't use my computer at any rate because you are eating up all the cycles.

This is NOT a new issue - complaints of this kind go back several years. Don't you think it's abouit time to GET IT RIGHT!
