i'm getting 4 or 5 times a day a message that AVG Internet security has put 'Powershell.exe' in quarantine. As far as I know Powershell is a standard part of Windows 10. I'm getting this message since the last programm update of AVG (I think?)
Is anyone familiar with this problem?
Johan

I followed the second part of your proposal and added Powershell to the exception list.
Now I wait for the results.
Johan,
Thank you for providing screenshot. Please check if powershell file is in quarantine and restore it. To restore the file from quarantine, please follow the steps mentioned in this article ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Using-the-AVG-Quarantine ). Once you have restored it, please add that file to AVG exception list as per the steps mentioned in this article ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-make-exclusions-from-all-scans-and-shields ) and this will be a temporary fix. For the permanent fix, please report the false detection by AVG at https://www.avg.com/submit-sample . Our developers will check that and whitelist that file from AVG virus definitions.
If you are still unable to restore that file from quarantine, please share the screenshot of AVG quarantine to assist further.
