Windows 10
AVG Free 16.101.7752
Virus db version 4647/12873 (8/24/16, 10:19)

I am getting several messages a day regarding a detected threat.  Each time the name of the threat is Trojan horse Ransomer.LRV but the infected file is always different.  In the most resent case it is xe1xusm.dll.  I believe that every time the file is in the temp folder and the extension is always .dll.  each time I select of AVG to resolve the issue and it responds that the threat has been successfully removed.  After a few days of this I did a clean reinstall of windows 10 and all applications.  My personal files are all in the cloud so there was no need to backup and restore.  Within a few hours of the instillation of Windows 10, the threat was back.

It's been more than 24 hours without a threat.  One thing I found was that there is a Lenovo app called the Lenovo Service Bridge that can cause problems with AVs.  Every hour or so the app asks if you are sure you want to run it.  I said remember answer and then selected run.  This may have been the issue.  If I receive another threat I will post it.
