Ransomware protection

Hello Carole,

I understand the inconvenience. Usually Ransomware protection will not turn off automatically. Please check the expiry date (8/4/2018) in AVG> Menu > About > Subscription. If that shows the correct expiry date, please repair AVG Internet security/ AVG Protection http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG from the control panel and then check the status.

If wrong expiry date is shown, please re-enter the license number (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Activate-AVG-AntiVirus-or-Internet-Security-with-a-new-license-number) and activate the program.

Hi Bhuvaneswari

My expiry date is ok and I did the repair as instructed yesterday and just now when turned on my lap-top the ransomware just turned off.

Your comments and advice is most welcome.

Why does my avg ransomware protection keep turning off automatically with no warning message. I need to keep checking to see if it is still active and protecting my computer.

Can anyone help me?
