Is the computer on which you are installing AVG is connected to internet?
Because an active internet connection is required to download the installation files required to complete the setup.
If the device is connected to internet, please make sure there is no conflicting antivirus software installed on your PC.
I am connected to the internet. Windows Defender is turned off. AVG Tune Up has loaded and is operable. AVG Internet Security begins to download, then turns off and it does not install. No icon, not listed with other programs. ???
I have relied on AVG for years, recently my computer went black. I had to bring it in for a repair. I was told it was not a hardware issue, but that the operating system had to be refreshed. I lost my programs but not my photo's. Now that it's working I want to reinstall the AVG AntiVirus before I go anywhere on the internet. I have downloaded it 3 times but there is no icon for it on the main screen and not listed with loaded windows 10 programs? How do I get the "Dashboard " back so I can use it when necessary?
