Hello
I can see by the comments others are having the same problem that I am having. I have paid for AVG so I do not have the free AVG. When I called customer support all of a sudden they wanted $190 dollars to get on my computer to remove the red X and I noticed that when I chose to fix the problem it wanted me to download from another country that was not the USA. I asked a friend and they said this was a gimmick. I did use another system to clean my computer that was free and it found like 465 things it removed but I still have the red X on AVG but yet when it does the daily scan it says my computer is protected. I don't understand at all. What am I paying for then?? This all started about a month ago and today is 9-2-18. I'm not secure enough to remove a program and I have been doing a lot of work on my computer that I do not want to lose. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
Tina
