Reminders of something in my basket - that I've already paid for!

I'm often offered products that I already have. It shows that I can purchase it. I click on it to see what it costs, i.e. $xx, check my online account and I already have it AND I have updated my subscription in the app.
THEN I receive an e-mail reminder of what I have in my cart!!! Have I forgotten to purchase it - often with a hefty discount, i.e. 49%. Not just once, but it comes several times to remind me.
Don't you have anything in place to show that I already subscribe to this product?
What happens if I should pay for something like that when I already have it???
I have the AVG Ultimate VIP (Multi-device) for 10 devices, which means someone else in my household also has it installed. I keep reminding them NOT to click to buy anything, as we already have it.
WHY do you continue with this???
Otherwise, the service works fine, but this is so irritating that I'm definitely considering cancelling at the end of this period!
