Remote Desktop blocked

Hi St. Marks,

We would like to inform you that AVG Remote Access Shield allows you to control which IP addresses are allowed to connect remotely to your PC, and blocks all unauthorized connection attempts.
If you are sharing any files from one PC to the other connection on same network, then you would get the block prompt from AVG remote access shield.
If you are sure that this is happening only while you share the files then you can add the network's ip address to stop remote access shield blocking it.
Open AVG Internet Security program window.
Click on "hacker attacks" and click on "gear" icon available in it.
Select 'Remote access shield" from the settings and make sure the check box that says "block all connections except the following".
Click on "Add" and enter the IP address and check whether you still get the block popup.

Thank you.

Hey Guys,

I found the bug…

My Issues:

AVG Internet Security blocking allowed, legit LAN connections in remote access shield

Flagged as - SMB: Brute Force Attempt

Disable "Enable Samba protection" in Remote Access Shield to Fix it, it's classifying SMB as Samba…

Let's get on the ball AVG, this is an unacceptable bug!!!

Help! I have been getting the same "Remote Desktop blocked" warning. I have had 5007 of them warnings and last week my email was hacked and now its trying to get hacked again. What do I have to do to stop this completely? AVG has been blocking them but after 5007 tries they have finally gotten through and it interrupts my work because I keep getting the pop up from AVG saying they are blocking this same threat.
